A strange pattern with the Tenere 700 and CRF450RL
Why these motorcycles attract the same buyer that will go from one to the other, even though they are very different in their own ways. Both these bikes are street legal with presumed capability off-road, both are Japanese and very reliable, but that's about all they have in common. The Yamaha T7 is a middleweight adventure bike with a parallel twin engine, and the Honda 450RL is a single cylinder ripper, both cranking out enough horsepower for anyone to be happy with. The terere is more capable of touring and has far better road manners, and the CRF is only happy in the dirt at full throttle. Here's my opinion and thoughts of why riders keep going from one of these models to the other. Comment with any questions, enjoy!
