With the extension of the Yamagata Shinkansen to Shinjo in 1999, the number of tourists in the prefecture increased, and in the fiscal year ending March 2001, sales reached approximately 218 million yen. However, since then, sales have gradually declined due to a decrease in tourists and intensified competition with other companies. Furthermore, due to the impact of COVID-19 and a shortage of drivers, operations declined, and sales for the fiscal year ending March last year fell to approximately 58 million yen.
