Garrett will show you an extra step to make sure you get all of the old oil out of the motor before you refill it. Then, we’ll replace the drain bolt and show you how to replace the oil filter on your CRF450. The to access it, you’ll just need to remove two bolts, but be careful as you remove it: there’s a spring behind the filter that you’ll want to reuse. What we’re not reusing? The O-ring that seals the oil filter cover to the engine. We’ll replace that before we replace the oil filter and bolt the cover back in place. Then, we’ll refill the engine with fresh HP4 oil.
