After showing you how we built the rocky background of this terrarium, it's time for the second part of this project... decorating it and getting it ready to welcome our Oriental Trigger Monitors (Varanus tristis orientalis)! 🦎 But before we start decorating, there's something fundamental: research. We'll show you the websites and tools we used to learn about this species' natural habitat, the temperatures it needs, the type of lighting, and other key aspects for recreating an environment as close to nature as possible. 🪵 Once we have all that information, we'll begin decorating the terrarium, placing logs, bark, branches, substrate, and all the necessary elements to create a functional and enriched space. 💡 We'll also install the appropriate lighting and heating, explaining why we use each system and how we achieve the parameters this species needs. 🦎 And finally... the most anticipated moment arrives: introducing our Oriental Trigger Monitors to their new home and watching their first explorations of the terrarium.
