Ranger Raptor K&N Intake & Oil Catch Can Results - EcoBoost Mods You NEED!
If you own a Next Gen Ford Ranger Raptor, this is one of the best performance and reliability mods you can install. In this video I go over the results after installing a K&N high performance intake filter and oil catch can on my Ford Ranger Raptor 3.0L EcoBoost. After putting some miles on the truck, I checked the catch can to see how much oil and blow-by the system collected and the results might surprise you. Modern direct injected EcoBoost engines are known to produce oil vapor and crankcase blow-by, which can be routed back into the intake system through the PCV system. Over time this can lead to carbon buildup on intake valves, reduced efficiency, and dirty intake components. That’s where an oil catch can comes in. The catch can intercepts oil vapors before they return to the intake, helping keep the intake manifold, intercooler, and valves cleaner while improving long-term engine health. I also installed a K&N high flow air filter, which improves airflow compared to the factory paper filter. This helps the twin turbo EcoBoost engine breathe better, potentially improving throttle response and overall performance while still maintaining proper filtration. 🔥🔥🔥 PRODUCT LINKS!!! 🔥🔥🔥 • Intake Filter: https://amzn.to/4divYnq • Catch Can: https://amzn.to/4dna5mU • FORScan OBD2: https://amzn.to/4be0I7G In this video we cover: • Oil catch can collection results • Why EcoBoost engines benefit from a catch can • Benefits of a high flow K&N intake filter • Ranger Raptor engine bay modifications • Preventing carbon buildup on direct injection engines • Simple reliability mods for the Ranger Raptor • Why this is one of the best first upgrades for the truck If you’re modifying or maintaining a Next Gen Ranger Raptor, these are two simple upgrades that can help improve engine longevity, airflow, and performance. Truck mods like this are quick to install and make a real difference for EcoBoost owners who want to keep their engine clean and running strong for the long term. Let me know in the comments if you’re running a catch can on your Ranger Raptor or Ford EcoBoost engine and how much oil yours collects between services. ⸻ Hashtags #FordRangerRaptor #RangerRaptor #NextGenRanger #EcoBoost #RangerRaptorMods #KandN #OilCatchCan #FordPerformance #TurboTruck #FordRangerMods #TruckMods #DirectInjection #EcoBoostPerformance #FordTruck #RaptorNation
