Fixed up an old bike and makes me feel Thankful to be alive..Wiltshire Man

I brought this bike brand new back in the early 1980's when i was just a young man. Rode it for many many miles including a trip from lands end to John O Groats and then mothballed it for years. It needed new parts which I was told were no longer available. My local bike shop said you won't find the parts for that bike anymore, the axle is too narrow, best thing you can do is scrap it and buy something new! I have since found out all the parts are readily available online, I found a shop called SJCycles who stock all the old free wheels etc, so it goes to say don't trust anything that anyone tells you.
