LATIHAN RELAKSASI OTOT PROGRESIF

Relaksasi otot progresif merupakan salah satu metode non farmakologi dalam mengurangi nyeri. Relaksasi otot progresif terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi nyeri paska operasi kanker kolorectal, kanker area leher dan kepala dan open nefrektomi (Kısaarslan & Aksoy, 2020; Loh et al., 2022; Ozhanli & Akyuz, 2022). Manfaat lain dari relaksasi otot progresif antara lain menurunkan ketegangan otot, keletihan, kecemasan dan gangguan tidur (Loh et al., 2022; Mirzanah et al., 2020). Prosedur pelaksanaan relaksasi otot progresif dilakukan menurut empat kelompok otot besar. Keempat kelompok tersebut antara lain: kedua otot tangan; otot wajah dan bahu, otot dada, punggung dan perut dan otot kaki. Urutan langkah-langkah pelaksanaan relaksasi otot progresif dijelaskan sebagai berikut (Ciptaan et al., 2020). Berikut video latihan otot progresif yang dapat Bapak/ Ibu praktikkan.
