Angioscanner Pulmonaire en urgence : on valide l'EP ou pas ?

This is an elderly patient admitted to the emergency room with dyspnea, impaired general condition, and back pain. Pulmonary auscultation is asymmetrical. The laboratory findings are alarming, with inflammatory syndrome and elevated D-dimer levels. Given this picture, a pulmonary CT angiogram is ordered: it will reveal metastatic lung cancer, as well as a questionable image on a culminal arterial branch: pulmonary embolism or not? We will see how detailed analysis of the CT angiogram and knowledge of CT signs will help correct certain hypotheses. ABOUT THIS VIDEO It was filmed and edited in Strasbourg in June 2025. I'm passionate about radiology, and the central role of radiology and the radiologist is unfortunately still little known, especially outside of hospitals. Likewise, our specialty is evolving at the speed of light, and new indications and possibilities appear very regularly. The goal is to share with you didactic cases, articles, courses, and food for thought to highlight the role of the radiologist and draw attention to new options available in radiology. In short, sharing knowledge with as many people as possible, doctors and the curious alike: for a visual specialty like radiology, YouTube is the best place!
