IBSF World Cup Sigulda - 2-Man Bobsleigh - Heat 2

The fourth World Cup event of the Olympic season and also the final event of 2025 will take place in Sigulda (LAT) between 18 and 21 December. Following the cancellation of the skeleton races in Innsbruck, male and female skeleton athletes will have a busy schedule in the run-up to the Christmas holidays. The Latvian track will host both the third and fourth races of the season in the Women's and Men's Skeleton. Athletes competing in the 2-man Bobsleigh will also be putting in a double shift. Sigulda is unable to host the 4-man Bobsleigh event as the starting zone is only accessible via a lift inside a tower, which is too small to hold the larger sleds. Thank you for watching! Dezember in Sigulda (LAT) auf dem Programm. Durch den Ausfall der Skeleton-Rennen in Innsbruck wartet auf die Skeleton-Athletinnen und –Athleten in Lettland kurz vor Weihnachten ein umfangreiches Programm: Im Frauen-Skeleton und im Männer-Skeleton stehen jeweils das dritte und vierte Saisonrennen auf dem Programm. Doppelschicht heißt es auch für die Athleten im Männer-Zweierbob: Viererbob wird in Sigulda nicht gefahren, da der Startbereich nur über einen Aufzug im Turm erreicht werden kann und das für die großen Schlitten nicht möglich ist.
