Iran Neighbour Bombards U.S. Ally With Multiple Attack Aircraft In Huge Escalation After Strikes

The Afghanistan-Pakistan border is once again witnessing a dangerous escalation after Afghanistan's Taliban government claimed it carried out cross-border strikes inside Pakistan. According to Afghanistan's Defence Ministry, the operation targeted locations in Pakistan's Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. The Taliban claimed the strikes killed several ISIS fighters, caused significant material damage, and avoided civilian casualties. Kabul also issued a stern warning, saying it would target any location used to undermine Afghanistan's security. Pakistan's military said it shot down four rudimentary drones and warned that any further provocation would receive a "befitting response."
