Studio Hani Rashid

Hani Rashid's studio focuses on the development of conceptual, practical and critical skills for creating new, compelling and future-oriented architecture. The studio’ s interest moves within architecture as an object-driven pursuit, towards an environmental and phenomenological response. Architecture does get examined as an atmospheric, optical and experimental phenomenon which addresses intelligent and effective solutions on new forms of dwelling and being. The studio places great emphasis on an evidence-based approach, utilizing physical and digital models, animation and computer-generated imaging as well as diagrams and data sets. This also includes installation work to back all spatial and architectural arguments, design concepts and strategies.
