Rally Retro Report: Afl 963. Ypres Rally 1991 met o.a.Francois Delecour (Ford Sierra Cosworth 4x4)
In 1986 rijdt het jonge Franse talent Francois Delecour voor de eerste maal de Ypres Rally (Peugeot 205). Na veel pogingen, komt de doorbraak in 1990 als hij sensationaal hard gaat met de Peugeot 309 (ook dan niet aan de finish). In dienst van Ford wint Delecour in 1991 bijna de Monte Carlo Rally en wordt met steun van o.a. Crack meubelen aan de start gebracht van de 1991 Ypres Rally. Verder aan de start in 1991 o.a. John Bosch (BMW), Robert Droogmans (Ford), Patrick Snijers (Ford), Fabrizio Tabaton (Lancia), Alain Oreille (Renault), Marc Duez (Toyota), Marc Timmers (Mitsubishi) e vele anderen.
