At Cornell, Meinig Family Cornell National Scholar Kit Dobyns majored in Africana studies with minors in inequality studies, and law and society. He has studied Swahili and Zulu, and participated in and led numerous community engagement projects in Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, and other parts of the developing world.
