In this video, I built a DIY Lithium-Ion Battery Tester using the ZB2LB3 module, completely powered by a custom rechargeable setup. It’s compact, portable, and works perfectly for testing 18650 and other lithium-ion batteries again and again. I removed the micro-USB port from the ZB2LB3 and added my own built-in lithium battery, powered through a TP4056 Type-C charging module, and boosted to 5V constant output using a DC-DC Voltage Booster module. The result? A self-powered, smart battery testing device you can take anywhere. For convenience, I used an 18650 battery holder, making multiple tests quick and easy. The body is built from white acrylic (base) and clear acrylic (top) for a professional, transparent look — all secured with 3 mm metal spacers.
