In this candid interview with Nayandeep Rakshit, Rahman sir looks back at his early days - dealing with days he didn't have any money, battled financial lows and poverty, lost his dad at an early age and started work really early. He also commended his mother for standing by his life choices - whether it was his passion for music and deciding to not send him to school or his decision to change his religion and adopt Islam. He reveals he made a statue for her after she passed away. Rahman also opens up about the several perceptions he dealt with from the start with many even questioning his musical abilities.
