Hey everyone, Martin I’m halfway through my summer trip to Tokyo, and in today’s video, I’m taking a walk through the city and just having a chat with you — no big plan, just some time to slow down and reflect. If you’ve been following my channel, you know I usually share stories from rural Japan — the inaka — where life moves at a slower pace. But this week, I’ve been immersed in the fast-moving energy of Tokyo in the middle of a serious heatwave. I’ve spent the past few days reconnecting with people I’ve met online over the years — it’s been a real highlight of the trip. I caught up with: – Paprika Girl – Gaijin Mommy – Alfie Goodrich, an incredible photographer – and fellow YouTubers Kayde & Eric These conversations have been inspiring, grounding, and just a reminder of the kind of community that can come out of shared experiences across borders.
