I left the busy streets of Addis Ababa to explore a side of Ethiopia that most people never get to see… the rich side. 🇪🇹 What I found honestly surprised me. From luxury homes to quiet, gated communities, this is a completely different perspective of Addis Ababa that rarely gets shown online. In this video, I take you inside one of the most upscale areas in the city, giving you a closer look at how some people are really living in Ethiopia today. I also visited one of the fanciest hotels in Addis, the Hyatt Regency, to experience another level of comfort and lifestyle in the city. To wrap up the journey, I head back into the heart of Addis to enjoy a traditional restaurant, where culture, food, and live performances bring everything full circle. Ethiopia is more than what you see in the headlines. This is another side of the story. Ethiopia, in the Horn of Africa, is a rugged, landlocked country split by the Great Rift Valley. With archaeological finds dating back more than 3 million years, it’s a place of ancient culture. Among its important sites are Lalibela with its rock-cut Christian churches from the 12th–13th centuries.
