A história do cantor RONNIE CORD ,O ARTISTA ESQUECIDO, BIQUINI BOLINHA AMARELINHA.1943+1986

The son of conductor and composer Hervé Cordovil, he was already playing guitar at the age of six. In 1959 he auditioned at Copacabana Discos in Rio de Janeiro and, the following year, made his first recording, released on an LP that featured several other singers. His biggest hit was the song Rua Augusta, with lyrics by Hervé Cordovil, released by RCA Victor in 1964. In 2009, Rua Augusta was chosen as one of the 100 Greatest Brazilian Songs by Rolling Stone Brazil, ranking 99th.[2] In 1964 he had great success with the version Biquíni de Bolinha Amarelinha (in a version by Hervé Cordovil). The success came after Ronnie recorded in 1961, with original lyrics, the song "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polkadot Bikini", which Brian Hyland had released the previous year. In 1964, taking advantage of the Jovem Guarda wave, Ronnie Cord recorded the Portuguese version again, which also became a hit in 1965. He died of cancer[3] just over two weeks before turning 43. He left three children.
