PinSmart Fully Automated Twistlock Handling Machine for Container Terminals
Twistlock handling is the last major automation challenge for container terminals, until now. RAM Spreaders has designed an automated twistlock handling machine that can remove and replace twistlocks to and from containers. The machine improves the safety of container handling, whilst boosting productivity and efficiency. As the video shows, the PinSmart machine can come in two designs: retrofitted to the quay crane or as a drive-through wharf. The PinSmart machine is the most advanced system in twistlock automation.
