Albanien #8: Ausgrabungsstätte Butrint und Abschluss am Traumstrand

We spent the night in the parking lot of the Hotel Livia, right next to Butrint (just ask. It's free, including electricity and Wi-Fi). So we arrived at the entrance at 9 a.m. the next day and explored the archaeological site. It was wonderful to stroll through the woods and constantly stumble upon relics from bygone days. From there, we headed north again, over the Llogara Pass and past the Patok Lagoon (fantastic fish restaurants). To finish off our trip, we spent a few days on our dream beach near Vlora.
