The job market froze. Salaries didn't go up while the peach blossoms get more expensive every year. AI is changing everything. And amidst all of this, we – the devs – are still trying to hang on. In 2025, I lost time, mental health, and relationships. But I also gained a new mindset, valuable people, and a deep understanding of myself.
