With WWF Raw and WCW Nitro going head to head every Monday night, fans had to choose which show they'd watch as both companies tried to put on their best show week after week. Reliving The War looks at every match and promo from Raw is War and Nitro (on a weekly basis) to see which show was truly the best. It's the night after WCW Great American Bash 1999 and Kevin Nash wants a match with Sid Vicious. Sid returned to WCW at the PPV and even though Nash still left the show as World Champion, he wants revenge for Sid's interference. Ric Flair and Roddy Piper cut a promo in the ring on tonight’s show, which quickly descends into a tag match featuring previous members of the now defunct Four Horsemen. On Raw this week, Steve Austin makes some corporate decisions at WWF HQ. Austin meets his new assistants, he holds a board meeting, and takes the time to redecorate Mr. McMahon's office.
