Today, we're flying with Air Senegal, an airline that has always caught my attention, from their “Esprit Teranga” slogan to their gorgeous livery. This short hop from Dakar to Cap Skirring was a memorable trip from start to finish. We spent less than 20 minutes at cruising altitude before beginning one of the most breathtaking jet landings I’ve ever experienced. Cap Skirring Airport is a real challenge — narrow runway, remote setting — and I imagine it’s as fun to land as it is to watch! The flight was smooth, the crew was kind, and the Casamance region is just stunning — not only the coast, but the rich and peaceful inland areas as well.
