Opening December 20: Explorer Gondola & Kircliff
Tomorrow, the mountain experience changes. The Explorer Gondola and Kircliff open December 20, enabling seamless access from Mountain Village to Lone Peak—for everyone, on foot or on skis—for the first time. Kircliff's glass-enclosed observatory sits at 11,166 feet with 360° views spanning three states and two national parks. A transparent glass floor floats above Big Sky's legendary terrain. What was once reserved for advanced skiers is now a shared experience. Videography by Chris Kamman
