A scenic Indian Railways journey from Kerala to Pune and back, covering some of the most beautiful railway routes in India. Our onward journey to Pune went through Mangaluru, Madgaon, Dudhsagar, Londa, Belagavi and then Pune. Since the Konkan Railway is mostly single line, trains often stop at stations to allow crossings. These small halts give a real feel of rail travel through this amazing route. One of the highlights is the Dudhsagar Waterfalls section between Madgaon and Londa, while crossing the Western Ghats through the Bhagwan Mahaveer National Park region.
