A film in two extremely comical episodes, both packed with jokes, surprises, and a great cast. In the first part, a psychiatrist, Alberto (played by Christian De Sica), mistakenly ends up in the crosshairs of the tax authorities. Fearing prison before he can clarify his position, he disguises himself as a priest and takes refuge in a small village in Trentino, where he poses as the new parish priest of the small community. Alberto is completely unaware of religious practices, but thanks to his professional experience, he perfectly connects with his parishioners and fellow villagers, aided by the sacristan and altar boy Oscar (Simone Barbato, the mime from Zelig) and the trusty housekeeper Tina (Arisa). Oscar is mute, Tina has a strong Lucanian accent, and communication between the three is far from easy, and misunderstandings, double entendres, and simple conversations turn into hilarious situations. Everything gets even more complicated when the fake priest falls in love at first sight with a beautiful woman (Luisa Ranieri). For both, it's an unspeakable love: for her, because she believes he's a real priest; for him, because he knows he's a fake. The comedy continues until a surprise ending. Greg, Lillo, and Anna Foglietta are the protagonists of the second "love at first sight." It all takes place in Rome, and Greg plays the Italian ambassador to the Holy See. The diplomat, as his role demands, is polished in his eloquence and impeccable in his manners. But, by the law of retaliation, he falls head over heels for a fishmonger (Anna Foglietta) who speaks only Roman dialect and has the coarse manners of a true commoner. She detests formality, and so the ambassador, in order to approach and win her over, enlists the help of his driver (Lillo) to try to transform himself into a true bully. The ambassador and his driver must work tirelessly to resolve an impossible situation...but "love at first sight" is a thing of the past...
