Should you switch to GPT-5?

I've been an exclusive Claude and Claude Code user for the better part of 6 months. That's basically an eternity in AI time. But is OpenAI's latest model, GPT-5 the thing to beat now? Does it take the cake and reclaim it's throne? Is it enough to get me (or you) to switch off of Claude Code? Let's chat. Keep creating.
