Caitlin Clark "Supporters" are her biggest problem

Caitlin Clark's biggest problem isn't opposing defenses. It's a fan base that refuses to acknowledge reality. Every mistake is someone else's fault. Every loss is blamed on teammates, referees, league officials, or now Stephanie White. The criticism of White is particularly ridiculous given that she already demonstrated in the 2024 playoffs that "Caitlin-ball" isn't a championship formula in the WNBA. Instead of demanding growth, accountability, leadership, and emotional maturity from Clark, many of her loudest supporters spread hate, attack anyone who disagrees with them, and search for new villains every week. Real fans help athletes improve. Attack dogs make improvement harder. Until the conversation shifts from blame to growth, Clark's path to becoming a championship player will remain more difficult than it needs to be.
