Hunting for Mt Hobbs Fire Tower Tasmania | CFMOTO 450MT

Welcome back to another ride on Adventure Reboot. Today, I’m firing up the CFMOTO 450MT and heading out in search for the Mt Hobbs Fire Tower. The adventure kicks off with some less than ideal weather, battling through the rain right out of the gate. After a quick fuel stop in Brighton, I point the bike toward Colebrook and double check the map before the real hunt begins. Finding access to Mt Hobbs turns into a mission of its own, my first two planned routes are completely shut down by private property gates. Not ready to give up, I take a gamble on a third, completely unmarked trail. Things quickly escalate into a steep, rocky battle that pushes me and the 450MT a little too hard. After the bike starts overheating on the climb, I have to break out some quick bush mechanics on the side of the trail to get things running cool again. With the uncertainty of the track ahead and the bike's condition, I make the tough call to pull the pin and head back. I wrap up the trip exploring a bit more dirt before hitting the highway home. We didn't reach the tower today, but it was still an epic adventure. Mt Hobbs... I'll be back to conquer you soon! If you enjoyed the ride, hit that Like button, drop a Comment below.
