125 Jahre Spreewaldbahn - Fest Bahnhof Straupitz - 2023-07-22

I stumbled across an advertisement for the "Railway Festival" by chance. So we drove the 100 km to Straupitz. For once, the "museum" was very well signposted. There were several original vehicles from the former Spreewald Railway standing around, some in a dilapidated state. As is often the case, money/euros were scarce. We then visited two more former stops/stations where signs point to the Spreewald Railway. There was a pottery market in Burg. It was simply packed, just waiting to be photographed by all the vehicles still there. I'd like to refer again to the description on Wikipedia, from which I also copied the maps at the end of the video. I don't know if everything is accurately represented there. All the stations/stops are described there as well. I would also like to draw your attention to Axel Maurszat's website (post04snugu.de) "Railway Lines in Brandenburg – Spreewald Railway," from which I borrowed the graphic. It might be interesting to visit the other stops sometime. I hope I don't get any comments as negative as those about the "Lausitz-Tours" film from five years ago. I've also contacted RBB (Berlin-Brandenburg Broadcasting) to see if they could produce a documentary using their footage. That would be great. The museum reopens on September 10, 2023. I hope the royalty-free music doesn't cause any more problems (Breaking Copyright - Royalty Free Music).
