Toyota Timing Chain Tensioner Replacement (Demonstrating on a 2001 Corolla, 1.8 L, 1ZZ-FE)

Here is a pretty simple video where I walk you through replacing the Timing Chain Tensioner (with seal) on a 2001 Corolla. This exact tutorial can be used for so many Toyota models, not just on the 1ZZ-FE engine shown here. 🔧 For once, I am actually not going to link a part, because I believe that it is best to buy this from the Toyota dealer. 🔧 For this customer, the new tensioner reduced 90% of the chain noise that I was hearing. That being said, depending on the age of your engine, you may not get the same results from just replacing the tensioner and you may have to replace the entire chain.
