A collection with a no-nonsense, "we-mean-business" toughness that still exudes a sense of freedom. Versace takes inspiration from the avant-garde style of Warhol’s sidekick Fred Hughes, declaring that traditional rules no longer apply. In her world, tuxedos at the office or leather jackets at a black-tie event are not only acceptable—they’re encouraged. On the runway, this philosophy translates into a sharp parade of pinstripe suits, with two-button jackets and flat-front trousers that exude 007-level sophistication. The black leather trench coat and angled trilby hats evoke a secret-agent vibe, while the addition of a purple turtleneck under a velvet jacket brings just the right pop of color to the otherwise monochromatic palette.
