A journey to Cottesloe Beach and Fremantle the end of the trainline | 4k

Using our free smartrider cards today we take the train to Cottesloe and then onto Fremantle. We had an unexpected stop at Claremont, as the train line ended there. Never mind, there was another train a few minutes later to get us the extra few stops to Cottesloe Beach. #SherylGray #Cottelsoe #fremantle #walkwithme #transperth #traintravel Join us at one of the most iconic beaches in WA – Cottesloe. A stunning beach, with a bit of history, as this has been a popular swimming spot since the early 1900s. We always seek out quitter spots, so wander up the beach a bit. We were carrying a bit of stuff, including snorkels and fins, and decided on settling down back at the main beach for a swim. Later on that day we continued to Fremantle and walked around the city heritage area, I do always admire the older buildings as they have character and reflect Australia’s history. A busy aera also for restaurants, pubs and cafes, we eventually head back to Fremantle train station to journey back to our apartment. There is a sauna at our accommodation and I am starting to like the idea of a sauna once or twice daily.
