He carried his high offices and great attainments lightly. No airs, no bombast. As a person he was affable, unassuming, warm hearted and hospitable to a fault. Always smiling and epitome of equanimity. I'd never seen him agitated or angry or perturbed. Always bright and positive. He had a unique ability of getting ready in his case in shortest time. He also had a unique ability to make knotty and complicated issues simple. He put across his case with perfect ease, firmly and gently in briefest possible time.
