Former President Thabo Mbeki visited the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden on Sunday, 24 May 2026. The tour was conducted by senior staff and included a guided walk-through key areas of the garden. Former President Mbeki was escorted onto the Boomslang Canopy Walkway, after which the group proceeded through the gardens to a natural spring located within the dell.
