(Major Upgrades): New terminal and 2-story building: The station is being transformed into a modern city hub. Modern amenities: VIP lounge, AC waiting room, and an excellent parking area. For passenger convenience: a new 12-meter-wide foot overbridge (FOB), 4 new elevators, and 4 escalators! North India's First: Most importantly, Ballia has become the first station in North India to open a premium multi-brand fashion store (Image Fashion Forever).
