PRODUCED BY GENCO INC. Tokyo, Japan Hi! This is Eiji. This time, I'm reviewing "Mobile Police Patlabor 2 the Movie." It's a film by my favorite director, Mamoru Oshii. Actually, I recently went to the amazing "Mamoru Oshii Film Festival" at the Shin-Bungeiza art house in Ikebukuro, and lo and behold, when I arrived at Ikebukuro Station, "God (Mamoru Oshii)" was there!! When I saw him from behind, wearing a Tamiya T-shirt and knit cap—a look only God could wear—I almost cried, thinking, "God really was there!" And I couldn't help but wonder why no one noticed God even though he was there. At that moment, I was reminded of the scene in "We Made a Love Like a Bouquet," in which Mugi, played by Masaki Suda, spots God (Mamoru Oshii) at a bar and is the only one whose excitement skyrockets, even though it's honestly not a movie I particularly like. Maybe Oshii fans haven't seen this movie (or aren't interested in it), but this scene alone is worth a watch, so I highly recommend it! (What am I talking about?)
