Thonga Beach Lodge - Adventure holiday in South Africa, KwaZulu Natal: Turtles hatching, Snorkelling

Our active, adventure holiday on South Africa's east coast at the fabulous Thonga Beach Lodge. The food was scrumptious, we kayaked, snorkeled, we witnessed turtles hatching, went fat bike cycling on the beach, enjoyed birding at the lodge and out at Lake Sibaya. Sundowners in the bush, alongside the lake was magnificent. A romantic trip for two or a holiday adventure for the family! Had a wonderful view of the sea from our room and organized activities every day. It's a great self-drive adventure and Thonga took care of the guests like royalty. Great get-togethers before dinner each evening where stories were swapped of all the exciting happenings of the day. Big tick for us was seeing octopus in the ocean and a sole, of all things! May find it hard to eat sole after this.....! A super week-long adventure.
