Here I'm showing you once again a Spanish class with a foreign student (ELE). This will help you analyze how I teach these classes with my students. This time, I'll show you how to teach the indefinite and imperfect past tenses, their differences, and of course, you'll be able to see the challenges Spanish students face when studying and trying to understand this verb tense, which isn't very common in other languages. My structure is based on initially explaining verb conjugations and then the meaning and functionality of these tenses, using a bit of cognitive grammar and the sense with which we use Spanish in real life.
