치악산 (상원사 10.2km) 산행

We decided to go to Chiaksan Mountain in Wonju, Gangwon-do, so we booked a car campsite. When we arrived, we found out that even though it is a car campsite, sleeping inside the car is prohibited. Then what am I supposed to do? Should I set up a tent next to the car or not? I don't even have a tent, so what am I supposed to do? Looking around, the caravans were completely empty. It seems they are making money by using the caravans. (Since this belongs to Wonju City, I don't know if I should complain to the city or not.) After getting my reservation refunded, we drove for about 40 minutes to the opposite entrance of Chiaksan Mountain in search of a free car camping spot. There wasn't a suitable spot here either. I called a guesthouse and asked to borrow just the space, and they agreed. (The fee was 40,000 won, including the space, restroom, and tap water.) After a good night's sleep, we hiked to Sangwonsa Temple (10.2km round trip) early in the morning at 6:10 AM with my brother-in-law and his wife. After returning, I am not the only one who feels this sense of fulfillment; everyone feels it. I hope we become like brothers-in-law who often go on trips to nice places together.
