Rabat is Morocco’s capital, but it has a much calmer feel than many of the country’s bigger cities. In this vlog we explore the historic Hassan Tower, wander through the medina, and walk along the impressive city walls overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Rabat blends ancient history with coastal scenery, and it quickly became one of the most relaxing stops on our Morocco journey. On our way down the Moroccan coast to Sidi Kaouki, we planned a simple stop in El Jadida… but the journey quickly turned into a bit of chaos. Busy roads, confusion along the way, and even getting pulled over by the police made this travel day far more eventful than expected. Once we finally arrived, we explored the historic Portuguese City, walking along the old fortress walls and through the narrow streets that date back to the 1500s.
