Tesla FSD 12.6.4 POV: Heavy LA Rush Hour Traffic (HW3) | Episode 370

Heavy afternoon rush-hour crawl home on Los Angeles freeways with Tesla FSD Supervised on my 2020 Model Y Long Range. Traffic was thick, but FSD handled the bumper-to-bumper chaos impressively well with minimal interventions. I engaged early, switched between Standard and Hurry modes, kept the speed offset at +20% for smoother driving in congestion, and added a few manual lane changes. It turned a potentially stressful grind into a mostly chill commute. Lane selection is still my biggest gripe (those frustrating slow-lane switches), but this update showed clear improvements in other areas. I love using FSD daily — it makes LA commuting way less painful. HW3 owners in LA traffic: How is FSD 12.6.4 performing for you in heavy congestion on 2026.14.6? Share your experiences below!
