Hessen-à-la-carte report on the 2017 Pentecost camp of the Free Knights of Münzenberg at the foot of the castle ruins. Nina Thomas peeks into the pots of various cooks at the camp and has the dishes explained to her. A special menu is prepared with Axel Friedersdorf, also known as "Axel the Franconian Butcher." Cooking roast pork over an open fire is quite a challenge!
