Rhodes Center for International Economics and Finance and the William R. Rhodes ’57 Professor of International Economics, with a joint appointment in political science. His books have included Great Transformations: Economic Ideas and Institutional Change in the Twentieth Century, Austerity: The History of a Dangerous Idea, The Future of the Euro, and Angrynomics. His forthcoming book is The New Politics of Growth and Stagnation. A native of Scotland, Dr. Blyth serves on a council advising the First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, on economic matters.
