Turkansaari

Turkansaari's open-air museum has become one of my favorite places because of its charm, old atmosphere and good atmosphere. I have been there several times this summer and always I flew there long time and filmed buildings. Turkansaari is located just ten kilometers from Oulu (city in Northern Finland) along Oulujoki in the direction to Kajaani. The island is relatively small and lush. Between trees have been rebuilt and restored many old buildings (church, priesthood, windmill, farmhouse, shelter, shingle, shack) and they are in great condition today.
