Evening Lecture Series Fall 2019 Season: Randall Griffey "Through Line: Marsden Hartley and Paul Cezanne," recorded on October 30, 2019. Randall R. Griffey is Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. He studies and writes primarily on early American modernism, specifically on American painting from 1900 to 1950. Much of his work has focused on the painter and poet Marsden Hartley. From 2008 to 2012, Griffey served as Curator of American Art at the Mead Art Museum, Amherst College, Amherst, Massachusetts. Prior to Amherst, he was the Associate Curator of American Art at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, Missouri. Please consider making a gift to the Evening Lecture Series.
