Dream Theater: "Another Day" I Bass Cover with TAB

When I listened to the stems separated in Moises, I got the impression that on this song, John Myung might be using an octaver or perhaps a synth pedal. So, I experimented with combining the pedals I already had in order to recreate the kind of sound that comes through as the “BASS” track when the stems are isolated. This time I used: MXR Bass Octave Deluxe MXR Bass D.I.+ MXR Bass Compressor I then ran them through the Mark Studio amp plugin in Cubase and added a slight touch of chorus. The result was this tone. I think I got fairly close to the original sound, but what do you think? There are not many especially difficult parts performance-wise in this song, so try experimenting with different settings and have fun with it!
