The third birthday (July 7) of Korea's first twin giant panda sisters, Ruibao and Huibao. About 30 fans invited to the birthday event wave happily as they see the cameras. Ruibao and Huibao sniff the bench bearing their names as if fascinated, then settle down side by side in cute poses that seem out of place given their large physiques. This bench was personally crafted by Panda Zookeeper Song Young-gwan so that the twins could sit side by side. Today (July 7) is expected to be Ruibao and Huibao's last birthday spent in Korea. Ruibao and Huibao, born on July 7, 2023, weighing 180g and 140g respectively to mother Aibao and father Lebao, have grown into healthy individuals weighing well over 80kg. The two sisters must move to China before they turn four, when their breeding season begins, and they are scheduled to depart as early as this winter. Previously, the twins' older sister, Fubao, also moved to the Wolong Shenshuping Panda Base in Sichuan Province, China, in April 2024, before reaching the age of four.
