Walking the Camino de Santiago: Chapter 3 - Walking Toward Less Awkward (Logroño to Santo Domingo)

Chapter 3 of my Camino Frances walk. Three days, three towns, and a small but real shift in how I'm showing up. I start this leg alone — walking from Logroño to Navarrete — and use the silence to get honest about why I think I'm actually out here: I've been trying to become less socially awkward, and the Camino felt like the right kind of pressure-test for that. By the time I reach Azofra, I'm not alone anymore. Two other pilgrims and I fall into step together, and I talk about the people I've crossed paths with so far — who's sticking around, who isn't, what that's starting to mean. The last day, Azofra to Santo Domingo de la Calzada, brings a subtler shift: I'm not just tolerating the people around me, I'm curious about them. Small change. Feels like a big one. The video ends where the day didn't quite let me rest — a very loud, very late night outside my window in Santo Domingo. Sleep did not win.
