DIY: How to Set Roof Trusses Alone

Originally I planned to stick-frame this roof, 2x10 rafters, a ridge board, 2x6 ceiling joists. A friend suggested trusses instead, and once I ran the numbers it made sense three ways: cost, engineering, and speed to assemble solo. Shout out to Superior Trusses in PA, they designed these and handled the engineering specs for my permit. The real key to setting trusses alone isn't muscle (they weigh about 80 lbs) — it's prep. Hurricane ties secured on the top plate ahead of time, plus a spacer block cut and ready, take the guesswork out of lining up each truss.
